As the director of QSI International School of Shenzhen, I am honored to work with such a talented group of professional teachers, staff, parents and students. \u00a0Our community has been dedicated to teaching and learning in the international community of Shenzhen for over 20 years<\/strong><\/p>\n

QSI International School of Shenzhen, established in 2001, is a non-profit, co-educational day school for students from 2 years of age through Secondary graduation.\u00a0\u00a0Our goal is for students to be accepted into international English-speaking universities around the world where students are prepared to begin the next step of their educational careers.\u00a0\u00a0The school serves expatriate families living in Shenzhen and the surrounding areas and is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges from the United States of America.<\/p>\n

Our caring faculty is recruited from native-English speaking countries and hold certifications in their core content areas. We offer a combination of high academic rigor coupled with a performance-based, Mastery Learning approach. This ensures that students receive the attention and personalized\u00a0needed to achieve success at all levels.<\/p>\n

As we focus on the whole child, we also introduce and teach Success Orientations (SOs) throughout the classroom and school.\u00a0\u00a0SOs include Trustworthiness, Responsibility, Aesthetic Appreciation, Concern for Others, Kindness and Politeness, Independent Endeavor and Group Interaction. \u00a0This character education helps prepare our children to be good global citizens in addition to achieving strong academic success.<\/p>\n

Students engage in an academic schedule of core classes including\u00a0Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Cultural Studies and Science. We also offer a full range of specialist courses and electives, including Art, Music, Physical Education, Computer Technology, and many Foreign Languages. In addition to our in-school activities and opportunities, we offer after school activities and sports programs.\u00a0\u00a0Our Secondary students have access to Advanced Placement (AP) courses and the International Baccalaureate\u00a0(IB) program, which provides a challenging course of study leading to graduation and specific diplomas. Our graduates continue on to universities around the world.<\/p>\n

We chose QSI because of the welcoming attitude towards my son and of course the good reputation in Shenzhen. And I\u2019m glad we did. My son started learning English from zero and after 6 months in Qsi he didn\u2019t need the intensive English program anymore. This is thanks to the wonderful teacher team in PLE campus. The most important thing is that he loves going to school every day. <\/p>\n

QSI Shenzhen has been an easy transition for my children from the American curriculum they were used to in the US. As a parent I feel QSI is better at incorporating creative, expressive, and active learning. I like to see the kids thinking and learning outside the box. I love coming to see them make presentations. My children really enjoy being able to participate in the the different activity classes that help them explore hobbies that they might not otherwise get to try like 3D printing, STEM challenges, badminton, or Dragon TV. My children are happier here then they\u2019ve been at any other school we\u2019ve been to, abroad or at home. And that is what I love the most. <\/p>\n
