The Parent Support Group (PSG) Mission

The QSI Shenzhen Parent Support Group (PSG) is a voluntary organization led by parents of QSI Shenzhen students. Its mission is to foster cultural diversity and build a strong community spirit by organizing events across campuses. Some events also raise funds to support extracurricular activities that benefit students.

The PSG strives to enhance interest in QSI Shenzhen and supports the school, parents, and students by promoting a sense of community through activities, events, and volunteer opportunities. All faculty, staff, and parents of QSI Shenzhen students are automatic members of the PSG and are welcome to participate in meetings and events.

Why Volunteer with the PSG?

Volunteering with the PSG allows parents to engage with the school community, set a positive example for their children, and connect with other families. There are many ways to contribute, and all efforts—big or small—are greatly appreciated.

PSG meetings, usually held after the monthly Director's Coffee, are an excellent way to stay informed, share ideas, and get involved. Volunteers can help organize events, provide feedback, or simply support ongoing activities. As a member, you also have the right to vote on how PSG funds are allocated to benefit the student community.

How the PSG Operates

The PSG is coordinated by a team of dedicated volunteers who help organize events and facilitate communication among parents across QSI Shenzhen's multiple campuses. With a diverse parent body, campus and language coordinators ensure smooth collaboration.

Secondary, Main and PLE campuses have separate PSG Coordinators due to their size but work closely together under the shared goal of creating a unified, diverse community.
