How to Apply
Step 1 - Learn about QSI Shenzhen
QSI Shenzhen accepts applications year round. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our website and school philosophy. If you have questions, contact admissions@shenzhen.qsi.org.
Step 2 - Arrange a visit to a campus
We are happy to schedule a tour with one of our admissions officers. Visits must be scheduled in advance via email or phone. Victoria Chen: 2667-6031 | Belinda Liu: 2353-6439 | Vanessa Lv: 2602-9896.
Step 3 - Complete and submit the application forms and necessary documents
Required documents: Student passport and visa, parent passports, passport photos, 2 years school records (with English translation), immunization records, signed record release form. Foreign passport holders, HK/Macau/Taiwan travel permit holders are eligible.
Step 4 - Pay the one-time registration fee
Registration Fee: RMB 4,320, one-time, non-refundable, payable by bank transfer.
Step 5 - Take the placement test and interview
Students ages 6+ take the NWEA MAP test in Reading, Mathematics, and Language Usage (English). Ages 8+ also complete a written essay. An interview with the Director of Instruction may be required.
Step 6 - Placement and Acceptance
Placement is decided by the Director of Instruction based on age and last grade completed. Secondary students must demonstrate English fluency for diploma work. Upon acceptance, pay the Placement Fee and Capital Fund Fee within 10 business days.
